Co-Owner / Counselor
My passion is to help others by giving them tools to live their best life. I believe we grow up learning from our caregivers, as well as the environment in which we live. Traumas, abuse, neglect, and natural disasters factor in to how we deal with everyday life. My philosophy is that "Every person matters; You Matter."
Counselor
I am a compassionate counselor who works with children, adolescents, and individuals navigating mood-related challenges and overwhelming life experiences. I have a strength based approach and utilize CBT to help others overcome their everyday challenges. I strive to create a supportive, welcoming space where my clients can feel safe, understood, and empowered to build practical skills for healing, stability, and growth.

Hi, I’m Mary. I’m currently completing my internship as part of my Master’s program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University, with an expected graduation date of December 2026. I’m honored to be part of the team at Calm Horizons Counseling, where I bring a relational, systems-focused perspective to the work we do.

I Have dedicated my life to serving and supporting others. With over 20 years of military service and more than three decades in the Fire and Emergency Medical service, I have gained a deep understanding of resilience, teamwork, and the challenges that come with high-stress professions.

Erin Myers is a dedicated professional committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care within the community she has always called home. Born and raised in Rowan County, Erin brings a deep understanding of the people she serves, along with a genuine passion for supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges.

I was born in Texas and moved to North Carolina at the age of 17, where I’ve built both personal and professional roots. I bring a caring and people-centered approach to my role as a receptionist, with over eight years of experience in customer service.
